Today we came to your home to review and provide estimates for multiple projects you were interested in completing. After discussing each project and reviewing all available options, we provided several solutions to address the work. The homeowner elected to move forward with the lighting circuit only at this time. We are scheduled to return on February 14th to complete this work. The scope of work will include: • Installing two new 8-foot LED strip lights in the garage • Replacing the two existing 4-foot fixtures with 8-foot fixtures to match the new installations Thank you for continuing to trust us with your home’s electrical and heating and air needs. Our office will be reaching out to confirm the requested return date to complete this work. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you soon. Bryant Clark
Thank you for choosing Dawson’s Electric and Air. I came to your home today to evaluate the installation of a portable generator hookup and provided several solutions to complete this project. While on site, I installed an appliance cord on the upstairs furnace and replaced the existing furnace switch with a receptacle so the furnace can be powered by a generator to provide heat during an outage. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to give us a call.
Today you called us to your home to address the front porch light. One of the sconce-style fixtures on the front porch had come loose and was at risk of falling. The homeowner had temporarily supported the fixture until we were able to arrive to prevent it from falling to the ground. Upon arrival, we quickly identified that the electrical box in the wall was damaged. The threaded mounting point that secures the bracket—and ultimately the fixture—was broken, leaving no safe option other than replacing the box so the light could be properly secured. We replaced the box, reinstalled the fixture, and verified that the light was operating correctly and securely mounted to the wall. Thank you for allowing us to resolve this issue today. We’re happy to welcome you to the Dawson’s Electric and Air family and look forward to assisting with any future electrical needs in your home, as well as servicing the mini-split system, which will be the only unit we service on the heating and air side. I arrived to perform a “peace of mind” system check. When I arrived, I found that the indoor electrical shut-off switch for the heat strips is overheating and starting to melt on the inside. This is a safety concern, and I strongly recommend replacing this disconnect. Other than that issue, the indoor unit is operating normally. The UV light system is working properly, and there is no visible mold or biological growth on the blower door. The air dampers could not be accessed, but there are no signs of airflow problems. The homeowner also reported no comfort issues or concerns at this time. The zone control board is new, and the transformer in the air handler is properly sized to power both the zone system and the air handler without issues. All heating functions were checked, cycled, and tested, and they are operating as they should. At the outdoor unit, I found that both the high-pressure and low-pressure safety switches have been bypassed by a previous technician. Records show t
Today you asked us to your home to address the rear floodlight, which has not worked since you moved in. Upon arrival, we discussed two options with you: performing a full diagnostic to determine the cause of the failure or replacing the fixture. Since the light was not operating when we arrived, we explained that a diagnostic may still be required even if the fixture were replaced. After removing the existing light, we found that the wires inside the fixture were damaged. We then attempted to identify which switch controls the floodlight but were unable to locate it during our visit. At that point, we explained that a full diagnostic would be needed to determine where the power originates and why the light was not receiving proper voltage. The homeowner chose not to proceed with the diagnostic at this time, as a detached garage with exterior lighting will eventually be installed in the same area. While at the home, we also adjusted the ceiling fan in the daughter’s bedroom to ensur
The homeowner called requesting replacement of a couple of interior light fixtures and repair of a couple of broken outdoor receptacles. Upon arrival, I met with the homeowner and discussed what they were looking to have done. The dining room light was a direct replacement, while the laundry room light was an older fluorescent fixture that did not have a proper lighting junction box, which would be required to safely install the new fixture. I also inspected the exterior receptacles and found they were not weather resistant and did not have weather-tight in-use covers, creating a potential safety and code compliance concern. I recommended replacing the dining room light fixture, removing the laundry room fluorescent fixture and installing a new lighting junction box, installing the new laundry room light fixture, and replacing all exterior receptacles with weather-resistant receptacles along with new weather-tight in-use covers to ensure proper outdoor protection. The homeowner approve
Troubleshot Upon inspection tested unit operation and refrigerant levels are not operating to manufacture specifications at this time. Visually inspected evaporator coil and found what seems to be oil streaks on coil fins. Lots of dark rust notated near endbells of coil.
Came out to this property today to install an outlet for the new stairlift that is being installed for a veteran. Upon arrival, I looked into what would be involved in getting power to the location for the outlet. The best place to get power from was the third floor. After approval, I performed the work which involved Installing a fire protection outlet in the third floor room, run wire through unfinished area and down the wall to the top of the stairs, and install a shock protection outlet. Everything was working properly upon completion. Thank you for choosing Dawson’s Electric and Air.
Came out to your home today to look at replacing the flood lights on the rear of the home. Upon arrival, we met with Robert and discussed what he was looking to have done today. He showed us the old flood light and the new lights he purchased to have us install. We then discussed other solutions but Robert wanted to use the lights he had purchased because of the lumens output. We designed a solution to install the new lights which Robert accepted. The solution included A. Install homeowner supplied flood motion lights B. Install second flood light box for second floor lights The new lights were working properly upon completion. Thank you for choosing Dawson’s Electric and Air.
Jim is the best and we trust Jim with all our electrical needs. Thank you Jim for another job well done! You’re the best!!
Jim and Mason were great! They worked good as a team should. The installation of the dedicated electrical circuit went quick, smooth and without a hitch! Jim asked for a broom to clean up the mess and I said I would get it but he insisted so I got him the broom and dustpan.
Great Service
Jonathan did a great job installing floodlights in our backyard. He’s done a few projects for us and we’re always very happy with the work done!
Jim was fantastic. I would have put 10 stars if I could. He was well versed in his craft. He explained everything he was going to do and did it all within a timely matter. He was very professional. When he was under the crawl space he even brought to my attention an issue I was having down there. I wish more companies had people like Jim working for them.
Wonderful service & safety suggestions. Jami was very knowledgeable
Great service
Recently had a transfer switch installed to run our generator into the house. Not only was the service fantastic but they came out the next day to install. Johnathan and his assistant installed it and I couldn’t have as asked for a better interaction. They were extremely friendly, easy to chat with and knew exactly what they were doing. He never pressured me into buying anything extra and gave me options for different services. Johnathan was somebody I would hire for my own company and that’s one of the greatest compliment you can give. Guys were excellent and price was fair for the work they did. I’ll definitely be using Dawsons again for future
Jim was great to work with
Very courteous, friendly did an excellent job and was determined to finish the entire project in one evening rather than rescheduling part of it to a later date about a month later. Cleaned the house as neat as he found it

New to town and third time using Dawson. Had multiple projects that YouTube could not fix. Jim was great. Knowledge, options, let us know costs and real nice guy. Would highly recommend Dawson. BTW great customer service as well.
John did a great job. Besides what we called him out to do, he pointed out a leak in our crawl space of which we had no idea. In addition he informed us about our woefully out of date smoke detectors and replaced them on the spot. Thank you for going above and beyond!
Polite, efficient and good. I am very pleased
Fast service
Great service!!!!
Great service!
John Torres was very professional and knowledgeable and did a great job. Cost of estimate should be deducted from cost of work.
John did a great job with the couple of tasks we had. He knew just what we needed and had all supplies on hand. Work was done quickly and efficiently. John is very pleasant. We’ll be calling him back again for more jobs.
We’ve used Dawson’s 3 times now and have had wonderful experiences each time with 3 separate technicians. This company must be doing several things right to have such a deep staff of such high quality. Whenever we have an electrical need we don’t hesitate and always call them.
Excellent Service
