Conducted sales call for non-operational 2013 residential HVAC system. Performed site assessment of outdoor condenser unit positioned on gravel pad adjacent to structure, documented existing equipment configuration including electrical disconnect and conduit routing, and captured photographic evidence for quote preparation.
Responded to no cooling complaint on 2013 HVAC system. Upon arrival, accessed attic space and inspected air handler unit and ductwork system. Examined electrical control board connections, ductwork integrity, and overall system operation to diagnose cause of inadequate airflow through vents and restore cooling function to residence.
Completed comprehensive heating and air maintenance on 2007 single-system unit including full 80-point inspection. Performed outdoor coil cleaning, burner cleaning, and verified proper gas pressures with adjustments as needed. Conducted thorough safety inspections and measured system pressures using digital manifold gauges, confirming R22 refrigerant charge and verifying superheat and subcooling temperatures were within acceptable parameters. All components operating normally with no deficiencies noted.

Responded to no-cooling call on 20+ year old XE 1000 system following power surge event and electrical issues that required fire department and utility company intervention. Diagnosed failed condensate pump preventing system operation after electrical damage assessment was completed by electrician. Confirmed AC unit operational capability pending condensate pump replacement to restore cooling function.
Isaac really went above and beyond to help me in an emergency situation. He made sure to check every possible problem and was able to get our electricity up and running!
Responded to emergency service call for power surges, partial loss of electricity, and burning smell from junction box in crawl space following fire department and utility company visit. Inspected both electrical panels (exterior rear-mounted and interior laundry room location) and investigated crawl space junction box area where odor was reported. Documented conditions of main distribution panel, circuit breaker configurations, and crawl space wiring connections near HVAC equipment to assess electrical hazards and determine source of burning smell and power irregularities.
Completed on-site consultation for Briggs & Stratton standby generator installation at residential property. Performed comprehensive evaluation of existing electrical service and main distribution panel to determine compatibility and requirements for generator integration. Documented current electrical panel configuration, including circuit breaker arrangement, bus bar connections, and wire routing patterns. Assessed available capacity and identified optimal connection points for automatic transfer switch installation. Photographed existing panel interior showing all breaker positions, neutral and ground bar configurations, and current wire management to support accurate estimate preparation for complete generator installation package including transfer switch, dedicated circuits, and necessary electrical upgrades.
Completed comprehensive heating and air maintenance on downstairs 2024 unit, performing 80-point inspection on HVAC system located in basement utility area. Cleaned outdoor coils, performed burner cleaning, verified and adjusted gas pressures to manufacturer specifications, and conducted full safety inspections of air handler and associated components. All systems tested and operating within normal parameters upon completion.
Responded to no cooling call on 10-year-old residential HVAC system. Upon arrival, performed electrical diagnostics using clamp meter at outdoor condensing unit. Measured compressor amperage reading of 5.75 amps and conducted voltage tests showing 0.0 volts at contactor, indicating failed contactor preventing compressor operation. Low amperage reading of 0.52 amps confirmed compressor was not receiving proper power supply, resulting in loss of cooling capacity throughout home.

Accessed and inspected interior electrical components, control board, wiring harnesses, and blower motor assembly to ensure proper operation. All equipment verified to be functioning within manufacturer specifications with no issues identified.
Responded to service call for drain pan filling up in attic and refrigerant level concerns on 2014 Lennox system. Performed diagnostic testing on outdoor condenser unit, including electrical measurements of capacitor which tested at 405.9 microfarads using digital multimeter. Inspected outdoor unit condition, refrigerant line insulation, and overall system operation to address drainage issue and verify proper refrigerant charge prior to home sale.

These guys are always fantastic. Fixed my problem, installed a fan - they even took the trash from the fan with them! It’s really the customer service that keeps me coming back though. Everyone I’ve ever dealt with at this company is nice, professional, honest!
Santos arrived promptly and worked diligently to replace my home’s inadequate ductwork. When he completed the job he explained what changes I should notice and encouraged me to contact him if I had any questions or concerns after living with the system for the next week or so. Another great experience with Dawson’s technicians!

The crew was on time. They had everything they needed for the job. They were polite and professional and went to work right away. They cleaned up their work area and left everything in great shape. I was very impressed!
Isaac was a very pleasant and easy technician to work with. He was very polite and professional. Isaac went over everything that was going to do before he did during the inspection that Dawson's died and they're service calls. When had them come to gives a quote on removing can lights on our front porch and installing ceiling fans. Isaac went over everything and had him install the fans the same day. I watched him work and enjoyed great conversations with him while he worked. I will be calling Dawson's for future work

“Peace of Mind” in action. We experienced an A/C issue Fri eve, and left a message for Dawson’s about 6:55 pm. Brenda called back within 10 min - remarkable! Then she scheduled a service call for us for Sat AM - incredible! Our tech, Thomas, arrived on time, and provided thorough, patient, knowledgeable, informative, and helpful service - even calling his boss AND Duke Energy on our behalf, to make sure he was providing us with an all encompassing solution for the problem - Wow! And finally, as a Peace of Mind valued customer, for the whole 2+ hr visit, we were charged just $52. Thank you Dawson’s, we’re grateful to be part of the family.
After having our vent hood over our stove installed initially it was not venting properly, so Aaron came back a second time to reposition the hood. He stood by his work and said they guaranteed the job to meet customer expectations. They certainly did just that and worked tirelessly to make all the necessary adjustments. The vent now works well and we are so pleased that Aaron and Keith did their very best for us.

Charlie came out to assess my home for surge protection and did an absolutely outstanding job. After a through system evaluation, he installed two layers of defense for my electronics: first a Vortex Series R VR-120 whole home surge protector at the main breaker panel was installed and then a secondary point of use Vortex Series B VB1-60-4XP surge protector on my HVAC equipment. He was professional, highly knowledgeable, and took the time to verify that everything was operating perfectly before he left. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my electrical system and sensitive electronics are fully safeguarded. If you need electrical work done right, ask for Charlie.Highly recommended!
