Job Locations and Reviews
Installed dedicated electrical circuit for kitchen island appliance use in 2002-built residence. Ran new circuit from main electrical panel located in garage to kitchen island location, including proper wire sizing and breaker installation. Panel inspection revealed existing circuits serving water heater and heat pump system with adequate capacity for additional circuit installation. Completed whole home electrical safety inspection as requested, verifying proper breaker labeling, wire connections, and panel organization. All work performed to current electrical code standards with appropriate wire management and circuit protection.
Completed full electrical service upgrade including installation of new 200 amp main breaker panel with copper bus bar and all new breakers and connections, installation of 200 amp meter base, and implementation of code-compliant grounding systems with water line bond and main grounding system. Coordinated with power company for disconnect and reconnect services and obtained necessary permits and inspections. Additionally installed two customer-supplied ceiling fans on the rear covered patio area.
Responded to service call for non-functioning laundry room fluorescent light fixture. Customer had replaced bulbs multiple times without resolving the issue. Upon arrival, verified power supply to the fixture and tested electrical connections. Determined that the existing 48-inch two-lamp fluorescent fixture had failed internally. Removed the defective fixture from the ceiling, disconnected wiring, and installed replacement fixture of comparable dimensions. Secured mounting hardware, reconnected electrical connections with appropriate wire nuts, and verified proper grounding. Tested new fixture for proper operation and confirmed full functionality before departure.
Responded to report of smoke alarms repeatedly activating in newly constructed home. Upon arrival, inspected smoke detector wiring and mounting at ceiling location, verified proper installation and connections at detector base. Evaluated electrical service entrance equipment including meter base, main panel, and grounding system for any issues that could cause nuisance alarms. Found no electrical faults or wiring defects that would trigger false alarms. Determined issue likely related to environmental factors or detector sensitivity rather than electrical system malfunction.
Excellent service
Responded to kitchen electrical service call for stove outlet inspection and replacement. Upon arrival, tested existing 26-year-old outlet using Fluke 323 clamp meter to verify voltage and proper electrical function. Replaced aging outlet to accommodate newly delivered stove/oven combination unit, ensuring proper connection and safe operation for new appliance. Additionally, removed abandoned wiring from previous range hood/vent installation above stove area, as customer is installing microwave and no longer requires those circuits. Completed electrical testing to confirm proper voltage delivery and secure installation of new outlet.
Issac was professional, knowledgeable and very considerate. He did not leave the job until he was sure we were satisfied! We would definitely recommend Isaac and Dawson’s for all your electrical work!
Tim identified the problem, presented a solution, and made sure to check in before doing any work and let me know the price ahead of time. He also helped prevent a future problem by identifying a breaker that needed replacement. Would recommend to anyone.
