Responded to service request for whole-home surge protector installation at residential property. Upon arrival, accessed exterior-mounted electrical service panel and main distribution center. Successfully installed blue digital surge protection device at the main panel, positioning unit at top of breaker assembly for optimal protection of all downstream circuits. Device was properly wired to main bus bar and integrated with existing electrical infrastructure. Verified all connections were secure, tested surge protector functionality, and confirmed digital display was operational. Closed and secured panel, ensuring weatherproof integrity of exterior enclosure. System is now protected against voltage spikes and power surges from utility supply.
Performed comprehensive electrical safety evaluation on 2019 residential property. Inspected main electrical breaker panel, verifying proper operation of all circuit breakers and connections following storm-related tripping event in one circuit zone. Confirmed panel integrity, proper breaker seating, and absence of thermal damage or loose connections. Conducted follow-up inspection of previously installed generator transfer panel, verifying proper functionality and connections. During exterior inspection, identified severe corrosion and fire damage to exterior electrical conduit/grounding system near building foundation, with visible charring and structural failure at connection points. Completed comprehensive 32-point electrical system evaluation on approximately 1,300 square foot residential property built in 1996. Performed electrical panel maintenance including torque verification and connection inspection of all circuit breakers in main service panel, which showed signs of age with visible rust and weathering on exterior-mounted enclosure. Conducted GFCI outlet and breaker testing to verify shock protection functionality, along with arc fault circuit interrupter testing to ensure fire protection systems operating properly. Performed smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector maintenance including battery replacement and operational testing throughout residence. Replaced customer-supplied light bulbs in fixtures up to 12 feet and provided ceiling fan cleaning service up to 12 feet. Responded to service call for non-functioning kitchen outlets and tripped breaker that would not reset in recently constructed home. Upon arrival, located affected circuit breaker in main electrical panel and investigated cause of trip condition. Performed diagnostic testing on kitchen outlet circuits using Klein Tools RT390 electrical tester to verify proper wiring, voltage levels, and circuit integrity. Testing confirmed correct wiring configuration and measured 125.3V at outlets, indicating restored power to affected kitchen receptacles. Successfully resolved breaker trip issue and restored full functionality to approximately three kitchen outlets. All circuits tested and verified operational upon completion.
We lost power due to lightening strike and they had somebody come out early the next day. Bryant was upfront about everything that needed to be done and what the cost would be. He did a visual check of the house explaining all the things he saw and possible issues that may not be visible. He coordinated with Duke Power, the town inspector, and the HVAC technician and made sure everything went smoothly. With his help everything was back up and running that day!!!

Isaac was a very pleasant and easy technician to work with. He was very polite and professional. Isaac went over everything that was going to do before he did during the inspection that Dawson's died and they're service calls. When had them come to gives a quote on removing can lights on our front porch and installing ceiling fans. Isaac went over everything and had him install the fans the same day. I watched him work and enjoyed great conversations with him while he worked. I will be calling Dawson's for future work

Charlie came out to assess my home for surge protection and did an absolutely outstanding job. After a through system evaluation, he installed two layers of defense for my electronics: first a Vortex Series R VR-120 whole home surge protector at the main breaker panel was installed and then a secondary point of use Vortex Series B VB1-60-4XP surge protector on my HVAC equipment. He was professional, highly knowledgeable, and took the time to verify that everything was operating perfectly before he left.
