These guys are always fantastic. Fixed my problem, installed a fan - they even took the trash from the fan with them! It’s really the customer service that keeps me coming back though. Everyone I’ve ever dealt with at this company is nice, professional, honest!
Responded to return visit for exterior GFCI outlet not tripping at vacant property. Upon arrival, tested GFCI receptacle with voltage tester and found outlet functioning but exhibiting signs of weather-related deterioration and contamination. Outlet showed significant dirt, grime, and moisture staining around recessed box and faceplate, with visible corrosion on mounting hardware. Verified GFCI test and reset buttons operational and outlet providing proper ground fault protection. Documented condition with photos showing weatherproof cover, testing procedures, and extent of exterior exposure damage for property sale records.
Completed comprehensive 32-point electrical system evaluation on 2003 residential property. Performed electrical panel maintenance including proper torquing of all connections and inspection of 200-amp Cutler-Hammer main breaker panel and branch circuit breakers. Investigated tripping arc fault breaker serving upstairs bedroom circuit, tested all GFCI outlets and breakers for proper shock protection functionality, and verified operation of all arc fault breakers for fire protection compliance. Conducted smoke and CO2 detector maintenance with battery replacement and operational testing. Replaced customer-supplied light bulbs in fixtures up to 12 feet and performed ceiling fan cleaning service up to 12 feet.
Removed existing ceiling fan from screened porch and relocated it to second-floor bedroom utilizing pre-existing wiring. Installed new ceiling fan with integrated lighting on screened porch, verifying compatibility with previously installed wall switches and confirming proper operation of all fan speeds and light controls. All fixtures tested and operational upon completion.
Completed comprehensive electrical installation including new smoke detector system throughout the residence, dedicated 30-amp RV outlet circuit with weather-resistant receptacle mounted on exterior wall, and complete main panel labeling for code compliance. Installed new wiring run through attic space to restore functionality to post lamp fixture. Retrofitted GFCI protection to existing garage outlet circuits that were previously installed without proper ground fault protection, bringing all outlets up to current safety standards. All installations tested and verified operational with three-year parts and labor warranty coverage.
Completed annual 32-point electrical system evaluation on 2024 home with ongoing AC unit breaker tripping issue. Performed comprehensive electrical panel maintenance including torque verification and connection inspection of all terminations. Conducted GFCI/shock protection testing on all outlets and breakers using calibrated Klein Tools RT250 tester, verifying proper trip times and functionality—all GFCI devices tested within acceptable parameters showing correct wiring and ground fault protection. Performed arc fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) breaker testing to ensure fire protection systems functioning properly. Completed smoke and carbon monoxide detector maintenance including battery replacement and operational testing of all units. Replaced customer-supplied light bulbs in fixtures up to 12 feet and cleaned ceiling fans up to 12 feet. Advised homeowner that the recurring AC breaker trip issue requires additional diagnostic work and potential repairs, with pricing to be provided
Isaac was a very pleasant and easy technician to work with. He was very polite and professional. Isaac went over everything that was going to do before he did during the inspection that Dawson's died and they're service calls. When had them come to gives a quote on removing can lights on our front porch and installing ceiling fans. Isaac went over everything and had him install the fans the same day. I watched him work and enjoyed great conversations with him while he worked. I will be calling Dawson's for future work

Charlie came out to assess my home for surge protection and did an absolutely outstanding job. After a through system evaluation, he installed two layers of defense for my electronics: first a Vortex Series R VR-120 whole home surge protector at the main breaker panel was installed and then a secondary point of use Vortex Series B VB1-60-4XP surge protector on my HVAC equipment. He was professional, highly knowledgeable, and took the time to verify that everything was operating perfectly before he left. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my electrical system and sensitive electronics are fully safeguarded. If you need electrical work done right, ask for Charlie.Highly recommended!
