Completed annual 32-point electrical system evaluation including electrical panel maintenance with proper torquing and connection verification. Performed GFCI outlet testing throughout the residence, confirming proper voltage readings of 124 VAC and correct wiring functionality. Conducted arc fault breaker testing to verify fire protection systems, smoke and CO2 detector maintenance with battery replacement and operational testing, customer-supplied light bulb replacement on fixtures up to 12 feet, and ceiling fan cleaning up to 12 feet.
Completed full 200 amp electrical service replacement on a 1995 residential property with no prior electrical updates. Installed new meter socket, upgraded main breaker panel, established proper grounding system with bonding connections, and integrated whole-house surge protection device. All work performed to current code standards with permit acquisition and inspection compliance.
Responded to customer request for whole-home surge protection installation at a residential property built in 1985. Successfully installed surge protective device at the main electrical panel, integrating the unit with the existing circuit breaker configuration. Verified proper grounding connections, tested system functionality, and confirmed all circuit breakers remained operational following installation.
Responded to service call at 2015-built residence for multiple lighting concerns. Assessed laundry room and walk-in closet, both equipped with existing fluorescent fixtures mounted on brackets at 9-10 foot ceiling heights. One fluorescent fixture was non-operational at time of inspection. Discussed options for converting fluorescent fixtures to LED lighting while minimizing ceiling penetrations and ensuring adequate coverage of existing fixture footprints. Evaluated feasibility of rewiring for relocated LED fixtures and provided recommendations for fixture selection to be sourced from supply house. Proceeded to upstairs bathroom to diagnose malfunctioning double vanity lighting circuit. Inspected wall switch assembly controlling vanity lights. Removed wall plate and examined switch wiring configuration, revealing multiple conductors including line, load, and traveler wires within electrical box. Responded to after-hours emergency call for lightning strike damage at a 2015 residential property. Fire department had disconnected main breaker as a safety precaution. Performed comprehensive electrical system inspection to assess lightning damage and determine safe restoration of power. Inspected main service panel, branch circuits, GFCI receptacles, and exterior lighting fixtures for signs of surge damage or compromised components. Verified proper operation of GFCI protection devices and tested exterior lighting circuits. Found system safe to restore power following thorough inspection. Documented conditions with photographs and cleared property for main breaker reconnection.

Isaac was a very pleasant and easy technician to work with. He was very polite and professional. Isaac went over everything that was going to do before he did during the inspection that Dawson's died and they're service calls. When had them come to gives a quote on removing can lights on our front porch and installing ceiling fans. Isaac went over everything and had him install the fans the same day. I watched him work and enjoyed great conversations with him while he worked. I will be calling Dawson's for future work

Charlie came out to assess my home for surge protection and did an absolutely outstanding job. After a through system evaluation, he installed two layers of defense for my electronics: first a Vortex Series R VR-120 whole home surge protector at the main breaker panel was installed and then a secondary point of use Vortex Series B VB1-60-4XP surge protector on my HVAC equipment. He was professional, highly knowledgeable, and took the time to verify that everything was operating perfectly before he left. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my electrical system and sensitive electronics are fully safeguarded. If you need electrical work done right, ask for Charlie.Highly recommended!
