Inspected main electrical panel, identified and confirmed the dedicated circuit breaker for the shed structure was in the OFF position, and verified no voltage present at the circuit using testing equipment. Documented panel condition and breaker configuration with photos to ensure safe disconnection prior to structure removal by demolition crew.
Completed electrical service installation for replacement hot tub at 2005 residential property. Assessed existing electrical infrastructure at meter location and evaluated installation site adjacent to concrete patio area. Provided customer education regarding code compliance requirements and potential permit implications for work performed to current NEC standards. Documented existing conditions including meter enclosure, service panel configuration, and hot tub placement location for proper circuit routing and GFCI protection installation.
Completed comprehensive 32-point annual electrical system evaluation including electrical panel maintenance with proper torquing and connection verification. Performed GFCI outlet testing using Klein Tools RT250 tester confirming proper shock protection functionality, and conducted arc fault breaker testing to verify fire protection systems operating correctly. Provided smoke and CO2 detector maintenance services including battery replacement and operational testing, replaced customer-supplied light bulbs in fixtures up to 12 feet, and cleaned ceiling fans up to 12 feet in height.

Responded to service call for non-functioning landscape lighting at community entrance sign. Upon arrival, diagnosed issue with dusk-to-dawn photocell-controlled lighting system where one side of dual sign illumination was inoperative. Inspected exterior junction box and associated conduit runs feeding both lighting circuits. Troubleshot wiring connections, identified failed photocell sensor and corrected wiring fault in affected circuit. Restored power to inoperative lighting fixture, verified both sides of sign lighting operational, and tested automatic dusk-to-dawn functionality for proper operation.
Tim identified the problem, presented a solution, and made sure to check in before doing any work and let me know the price ahead of time. He also helped prevent a future problem by identifying a breaker that needed replacement. Would recommend to anyone.
