Responded to priority service call for HVAC system evaluation. Documented existing Honeywell thermostat installation, including current display reading and complete wiring configuration with all terminal connections (R, RC, W, Y, G, C, O/B, and auxiliary terminals). Photographed unit with faceplate intact and removed to capture wire routing and terminal designations for replacement planning. Provided homeowner with equipment replacement options as requested by tech lead.
Installed a new 120V electrical outlet above the fireplace mantel in the living room to accommodate a wall-mounted television. Additionally, installed a dedicated 120V outlet in the garage specifically for the garage door opener. Verified proper circuit functionality and grounding using electrical testing equipment at all new receptacle locations.
Replaced existing keyless light fixture in attic storage area with new 2x4 LED fixture to improve illumination. Installation completed with 3-year parts warranty and labor coverage included.
Installed whole house surge protection device in main electrical panel and integrated Trane HVAC surge protection system for equipment safeguarding. Performed structured media panel data conversion to upgrade network infrastructure capabilities. Assessed media enclosure electrical outlet configuration for proper voltage and grounding compliance.
Installed homeowner-provided range hood and connected it to existing 6" ventilation ductwork. Replaced media filter on HVAC air handler unit located in attic space as previously scheduled maintenance.

Completed installation of UV light system on residential HVAC unit as requested by customer. System was properly mounted and integrated with existing equipment, with all electrical connections secured and tested for proper operation.
Replaced existing exterior wall-mount light fixture with new black metal lantern-style fixture featuring clear glass panels and decorative curved mounting bracket. Fixture was installed on white vinyl siding to the left of front entry door at standard height. All electrical connections were completed, fixture securely mounted, and tested for proper operation.
Conducted sales call to assess existing HVAC ductwork system and foundation area conditions. Documented measurements of aged galvanized metal ductwork showing significant surface deterioration and measured gap between foil-faced insulation and foundation wall where soil exposure was present, providing photographic evidence for future system replacement or modification recommendations.
Responded to no cooling call on main floor air conditioning system. Upon arrival, performed electrical diagnostics on 20-year-old outdoor unit using clamp meter to measure current draw and voltage at contactor and compressor terminals. Readings indicated minimal amperage, suggesting potential compressor failure or electrical fault. Connected manifold gauges to refrigerant lines at indoor coil to assess system pressures and verify refrigerant charge. Inspected furnace and indoor evaporator coil for proper airflow and secondary issues. Diagnosed failed compressor on outdoor condensing unit preventing system operation. Provided options for repair versus replacement given age of equipment and condition of unit.
We have been using Dawson Electric for a few years now. Everyone is very professional. Recently wanted a plug replaced on the porch. Bryant came did an excellent job with checking everything. He even helped me get a lizard out of my garage!
Completed HVAC system installation including heat pump outdoor unit and indoor air handler. Updated electrical panel with properly labeled dedicated circuits for both the heat pump and air handler, ensuring clear identification for future maintenance. Installed carbon monoxide detector in living space per safety code requirements, with unit properly mounted and operational.
Rob was courteous and on time. He was thorough and persistent as he examined my outlets, switches and circuits to determine the cause of my problems. He kept me updated on his progress as he worked and explained what he was seeing as he recommended alternate solutions. An A-1 experience!

Dawson's responded very quickly to an electrical issue that turned out to be caused by a leaking roof. Their communications are clear and customer friendly, and Isaac did a great job.
Hart shared his experience throughout fixing my a/c unit. He explained why I had problems and what ate the best solutions and why.
Connor was punctual, very friendly and knowledgeable, great about answering questions, and talked me through everything. Fantastic experience, and a solid value as well. Thank you Dawson’s.

Aaron did an excellent job today replacing part of my ductwork found on his lady visit for the semi annual HVAC inspection. He arrived on time and gave me a call when he was 25 minutes away.
Tim identified the problem, presented a solution, and made sure to check in before doing any work and let me know the price ahead of time. He also helped prevent a future problem by identifying a breaker that needed replacement. Would recommend to anyone.
