Today, 4-15-26 Ethan came and installed a a new HVAC system and also a new air filter system in my crawl space. Ethan and every worker I've encountered coming from Dawson has simply been wonderful people. They are all so pleasant and knowledgeable. Ethan was so easy to talk to. He always explained everything in detail. He took photos of the work that was done to illustrate the process. He was thoughful, thorough, and well mannered. Just an all around pleasant, competent guy. I would recommend Ethan to anyone who needs the service I was given. High five to Dawson... because they sure know how to pick em.
Hi Bailey, thank you for the 5-star review! We’re glad we could assist with your AC compressor repair and provide a quote for a new system. It was a pleasure working with you, and we’re here whenever you’re ready to move forward or if you have any questions about your HVAC options. At Dawson’s Electric & Air, we’re committed to keeping your home comfortable all year long!
Nick was nice enough, just doing his job, apparently the company policy is charge a high enough dispatch fee so when they give you the the price without lube, you don’t want to waste your dispatch fee therefore trapping customers making them spend a lot of unnecessary money. And just for transparency…. The lady in the office did explain the dispatch fee to me. However she didn’t explain the drastically high prices associated with the dispatch fee. My advice is find a company that gives free estimates, I say this because my company gives free estimates.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. For clarity, our $89 dispatch fee is fully disclosed before any appointment is scheduled. This fee covers the technician’s travel, fuel, vehicle expenses, insurance, and time spent by a licensed electrician to professionally assess the situation. There is never an obligation to move forward with repairs after an evaluation is completed. Dawson’s Electric & Air is a licensed and insured residential service company. Our pricing reflects the level of service we provide, including trained and background-checked technicians, code-compliant work, warranties, fully stocked service vehicles, and proper liability coverage. While we understand our pricing may not be the right fit for every situation, we believe transparency and professionalism are important for homeowners making informed decisions. In this case, we noted that the reviewer is a contractor. Contractors often rely on subcontractors or trade relationships for personal projects, which typically operate under very different pricing models than a retail residential service company. Service companies and subcontractors have fundamentally different cost structures. We never pressure customers to proceed after receiving an estimate. Many homeowners choose us because they value reliability, workmanship, and long-term peace of mind, while others may decide a different option is better for them. We wish you success with your project.

Jason has been to our home twice to help us with lighting needs. Both times he was on time, but more than that he really knows about wiring and electrical problems. He not only fixed our list of issues, but explained what was wrong. He suggested some improved lighting that made a tremendous difference. He was able to fix on fixture I thought I had to replace, saving me a nice little extra expense. Jason was not just personable, he was patient, helpful and skilled.
Great company . Fast response , on time and easy to work with .
