Dawson's Electric & Air FAQs

Yes! We do offer emergency after-hours service for urgent situations. There is a $249 non-refundable dispatch fee for these calls.

We truly value our technicians and their time with their families, so we ask that after-hours requests be reserved for true emergencies. When it’s a real emergency, we’ll get a fully qualified technician to your home quickly and safely.

We have technicians available Monday through Friday, with morning appointments from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and afternoon appointments from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

If you have an after-hours emergency, our customer service team is available to take your call and can dispatch a technician to your home if it’s urgent. We’re here to make sure your home stays safe and comfortable when you need us most.

Our dispatch fee helps cover our technician’s time, travel, and fuel to come out to your home for a consultation. Because it ensures we can provide prompt, reliable service across our community, we’re not able to waive it.

For electrical service calls, the dispatch fee is $69. If the technician needs to perform a diagnostic to identify an issue, there’s an additional diagnostic charge. For HVAC service calls, the $89 fee includes both the dispatch and diagnostic.

We believe in being upfront and transparent about pricing so there are no surprises, just quality service you can trust.

We do prefer a decision maker to be present when we arrive so that we can discuss options, give upfront pricing, and collect payment. We will sometimes make exceptions, but we will call you on a recorded line for approval of work before starting.

This entirely depends on what kind of work we're doing. Generally speaking, we'll need access to the room or equipment affected, and possibly multiple rooms depending on the complexity of the issue or the installation we're performing.
