Filling Backpacks and Fueling Bright Futures
Every child deserves to start the school year feeling prepared and confident. That belief is what inspired our Stock the Bookbag school supply drive.
At Dawson’s Electric & Air, we see firsthand how strong and generous our community is. During service visits throughout Fuquay-Varina, Angier, and surrounding areas, our technicians invited customers to participate by donating school supplies. At the same time, our office staff and team members filled boxes with additional items to support the effort.
The response was overwhelming.
Thanks to the combined generosity of our customers and team, we filled more than 20 bookbags with essential classroom supplies, including:
- Paper and notebooks
- Pens and pencils
- Binders and folders
- Tissues and hand sanitizer
- Other everyday classroom necessities
These supplies were delivered directly to North Harnett Primary School and Angier Elementary School, ensuring that local students had the tools they need to focus, learn, and thrive.
For many families, back-to-school shopping can be a financial strain. Being able to step in and help ease that burden, even in a small way, is something we are incredibly proud of. Watching the bookbags get filled, organized, and delivered reminded us that community support truly starts at the local level.
